Tiger grass (Thysanolaena maxima)

A close relative of bamboo plants, the Tiger grass is just that..... A large growing grass species. This plants grows very quickly up to a height of 2.5m, it requires regular moisture and idealy nutritional elements. Unlike normal bamboo the Tiger grass will not drop lots of leave little but in order to keep it looking good annual pruning is suggested.
