Brief
Clients wanted to regain privacy lost in the building process, and green the hard vertical surfaces.
A small lot house in a street of new builds on small subdivisions. The front yard required 'filling in' beds between walls and hardscape, the backyard needing a lawn for children, screening vegetation, and a bbq/fire pit in one corner.
In order to satisfy the timetable for privacy, tall-growing heliconias and gingers were selected, with brightly coloured accents between.
